TUF new Coaches May 8, 2010

On UFC.com, they announced the new season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) coaches.

First coach is announced is George St. Pierre (GSP)!  Yes….he is a great fighter and super hot!  But I don’t quite understand what he says most of the time, but I don’t care.  We will see if he is a good coach.  In my opinion, the best coach on TUF, hands down, Tito Ortiz.  Say what you may, but he is really involved with the team and genuinely  wants to help all the fighters.  Plus, any good coach knows that cardio is key.

Josh Koscheck

Paul Daley

Tonight’s UFC 113:  The fight against Koscheck and Daley will determine who will be not only coaching on TUF, but will be fighting against GSP for the the Welterweight belt.  Check out my pervious blog on my predictions on this fight.  In a way, Koscheck could make a full circle if he wins, because he first started out in TUF season 1.  Only time will tell who will the next The Ultimiate Fighter season 12 coach.

UFC 113: Who will win? May 8, 2010

Reminder:  UFC 113 today!  Check your local pay-per-view listings.  As usually, Hawaii, fights starts at 4-4:30pm.

Here is the official fight card:

Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida  vs  Mauricio “Shogun” Rua

6′ 1″ (185 cm)                                      6’1″ (185 cm)

205 (93 kg)                                          205 (93 kg)

16-0-0                                                   18-4-0

My prediction:  It is the year of the dragon!  Lyoto Machida all the way.  But honestly, I wouldn’t be that upset if Rua won either.  Both are really good fighters and both deserve a win.

Josh “Kos” Koscheck  vs  Paul “Semtex” Daley

5′ 10″ (178 cm)                    5’9″ (175 cm)

170 (77 kg)                           170 (77 kg)

16-4-0                                    23-8-2

My prediction:  Paul Daley.  I don’t like Koscheck because of his attitude, but he is a tough fighter.  Probably, Koscheck is the front runner to win this fight, but Daley has the potential to win.  If not, this won’t be the last time we will see Paul Daley….that I can guarantee.

Sam “Hands of Stone” Stout  vs.  Jeremy “Lil’ Heathen”  Stephens

5′ 9″ (175 cm)                                    5’9″ (175 cm)

155 (70 kg)                                        155 (70 kg)

16-5-1                                                 17-5-0

My prediction:  This is a tough one. I’m putting all my faith into Sam Stout.

Kimbo Slice  vs  Matt Mitrione

6′ 2″ (188 cm)    6’3″ (191 cm)

215 (98 kg)         265 (120 kg)

4-1-0                    1-0-0

My prediction:  Man, oh, man….this fight I’m more excited about than the Machida/Rua.  I’m going to give it to Kimbo Slice, because of more experience in the ring.  Don’t get me wrong, Meathead (Mitrione) totally impress me on the TUF.  He is a strong fighter, but Slice has more heart.  This fight could go either way, but for sure it won’t go all three round.  I think Meathead’s lack of ring experience might bite him in the ass in the big bad octagon.

Patrick “The Predator” Cote  vs.  Alan “The Talent” Belcher

5′ 11″ (180 cm)                                 6’2″ (188 cm)

185 (84 kg)                                       185 (84 kg)

14-5-0                                                14-5-0

My prediction:  Cote!  It’s very rare to have almost identical stats.  Even tho, Belcher has a longer reach, I feel the Cote is a much better fighter.  (I hope I don’t have to eat those words later on tonite.)

Be safe….good luck!  And I want to know what your predictions are going to be!

Undisputed 2010 video game Roll call…..check out all the UFC superstars in this game.  Which one is your favorite?

Haulage…..Part 2! May 2, 2010

Here is another Haul for ya…..

I bought these products at Longs Drugs (aka CVS):

Duo eyelash adhesive in Dark tone: (on sale!!) $ 4. 19(USD).  Original price $ 5. 29 (USD).  I have the original Duo, which dries clear, but I heard that Duo in Dark tone is much better.  For one: it dries quicker than the clear duo for some odd reason. And two:  since it dries dark most likely I won’t need to retouch my eyeliner.  Here are some swatches.

I don’t remember how long it took to dry, but I don’t think it was that long.

When the glue is wet it looked a little gray and when it dried it looked really dark.

NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder in Dark Brown/Brown:  $ 2.99(USD)

I love love this product!  The wax (white dot) is super creamy and your hair stays put.

This was featured in my April Winnas and Losers.  If you want a swatch of the eyebrow colors, please watch my youtube video, click here.

NYX Jumbo Eye and Lip pencil:  $ 3.49 (USD)

NYX Jumbo eye pencil in French Fries

I’m super excited to finally purchase some NYX products.  These pencils are super creamy.

Milk

Black Bean

Dark Brown

NYX Lip pencil in Natural

I’m kinda excited about his lip pencil.  This is my FIRST LIP PENCIL ever.  I’m a gloss kind of girl, but I’m starting to use lipsticks.

NYX Smokey Eyes palette:  $ 8.99 (USD)

Best palette ever!!!!

This was worth every penny!  Sorry, the photo above is with flash and the photo under is without flash.

This is pretty much true to color.  Super pigmented, very blendable.

Maybelline Define-A-Lash Volume in Very Black:  $ 6.48 (USD).  I picked this up at Walmart.  As you can tell, I couldn’t wait to use it!

I have the Define-A-Lash in Length (which is in green tube, also in the color Very Black).

It’s waterproof and never flakes.

The wand is made out of rubber and very flexible.

These are also featured in my April Winnas and Losers.

Kay…..it’s official….this is my last entry till after finals.  Wish me luck.  If you have any questions about the products above….go ahead and ask.

**FTC: All products mentioned and used in this blog were purchased by me with my own money, I have no affiliation with any of these companies.  I am not getting paid to do this blog and these are my honest opinions.

As I promised….I made a video on my winnas and losers.  FYI:  this is my first video eva…don’t mind the background noise.  It’s my neighbor’s kids.  At first, I didn’t think they were that loud, but I was wrong.  Also, don’t mind my hair.  For some odd reason the weather was SUPER humid and the last thing I wanted to do was put on make up and do my hair….but since I promised you guys this video…I did it anyways…awe…don’t you feel special?!?  Anyways, I promise it will only get better with time.

I want to know what your April favorites was…..

Sooo….sorry, I didn’t write yesterday.  I felt really wiped out for some odd reason.  I hope I’m not catching a cold…that would suck.

Anyways…here is what I ate for lunch yesterday….

I had a Arizona Vapor water (apparently it has electroloytes in it.  Meh, it tasted good and it was only a dollar at 7-11), PB and J sandwich on whole wheat bread  and fresh fruits!  Yummmmmmm!  Oh, I was at work, so don’t mind the paper cutter….ugh, I should’ve moved that thing, but I wasn’t really thinking when I took the picture.

And here is what I’m eating right now…. string cheese and a fuji apple.  Not the best snack in the world, but the most filling.  Alright….I’m editing my April Winnas and Losas (winners and losers) right now.  So, it will be posted later tonight.  I warn you….I don’t look too good in the video and man, it’s hard to do a video….I give those Youtube gurus some props, man.

I got Lei’d! May 1, 2010

Aloha!  Happy May Day!  Every May 1st, we, the locals, love to celebrate this great tradition.  This tradition is to celebrate the Lei, which are flowers strunged together to make a circle.  We use leis for all different occasions, like graduations, weddings, funerals, birthdays, someone coming home, etc.

May Day (also known as Lei Day) started back in the 1920s by Don Blanding and we continue that great tradition. It’s a huge deal now….every school on the island holds a May Day Program, where we there is a re-enactment of the Monarchy and hula dancing!  It’s a big deal here, many parents will take off from work to come down to watch the May Day program.  Also, all over the island we will have parades to celebrate this one day!

It’s not the flower we are celebrating, but the meaning it holds behind it.  When I receive a lei, I’m instantly happy.  I feel special!  Since you guys make me happy, I want to show my Aloha with you guys….so here is a lei from me to you!  Enjoy!

What…is it Spring or Summer?!? May 1, 2010

Living in Hawaii, sometimes I wish we had changing weather like the Mainland does.  I find Fall and Spring on the Mainland beautiful and breath-taking.  I love how the leaves change color as the year goes by.  Unfortunately, In Hawaii the only way we can judge which season we are on is by how big the surf is at the North Shore.  For example, during the winter North Shore beaches are raging with huge 20+ waves, but during the summer North Shores is flatter than Kate Hudson’s chest.

North Shore

Barrel is up!

I was doing laundry a couple of weeks ago, I noticed this beautiful flower in my backyard.  My mother, who has a green thumb, planted this back during the winter.  This totally caught me off guarded…..when did it turn Spring?…..I felt that 2010 is passing me by.  I really had to take a picture of this flower to remind me that I should ……stop and enjoy what’s going around me.

Tell me, what do you guys do to relax and “smell the roses”?
